About OLB
Oliver Brooksbank started OLB Installations after more than ten years working in smart home technology, mostly on high-end homes. The aim is simple: fit the technology so well that you stop noticing it and just use it.
Every job is built around the home it goes into, whether that's the security and lighting or a full cinema room. We care about the details most people never see, and we don't hand a system over until it works properly and looks the part.

Bespoke home cinema
A proper cinema is decided long before the screen goes on the wall. We design the whole room around the picture and the sound, rather than fitting the kit into a space that's already finished.
That means thinking through the layout, where the speakers sit, how the room is treated acoustically, the lighting, the seating and exactly where the screen goes, all as one system. Get those right and the difference is night and day.
What you end up with is sound that genuinely surrounds you, bass you can feel, and a picture that takes over the room, in a space that looks every bit as good as it sounds. The engineering that makes it work stays hidden behind a beautiful, luxurious finish.

How we work
We start by listening. A proper sit-down to understand your home, how you live in it and what you are after.
Then a full design and quote, with every cable and control worked out before anyone touches a wall.
Our own engineers do the install, tidily, and fit around your builder or renovation rather than getting in the way.
We set everything up the way you like it, show you how it works, and stay on hand afterwards if you need us.

Home cinema and media rooms, smart lighting, whole-home Wi-Fi and networking, multi-room audio, video distribution, CCTV and security, access control and intercoms, automated blinds and curtains, and the electrical work behind it all. We design and fit it as one system.
Yes. We're happiest coming in early so we can plan the cabling and controls before the walls close up, and we fit around your builder or architect. We also retrofit into finished homes.
Often, yes. Our System Rescue service is for setups that were never finished properly or have stopped behaving. We take a look, sort out what's wrong and get it reliable again.
It depends on the size of the home and what you want it to do. A single cinema room is very different from a whole-house install. We give you a clear, fixed proposal after the consultation so there are no surprises.
